BTS Jimin Takes No. 1 Spot in KDOL’s August Ranking

BTS member Jimin has once again demonstrated his enormous global popularity, finishing at No. 1 in KDOL’s August monthly ranking.

According to the global K-pop idol voting platform KDOL, Jimin received 151,917,298 hearts in the August monthly poll, which closed at midnight on August 31.

The latest victory marks Jimin’s 52nd No. 1 finish in KDOL’s monthly rankings, further strengthening his position at the top of the platform’s Hall of Fame.

Jimin’s dominance has also continued into September.

In the first weekly ranking of September, which closed on September 9, he collected 31,981,895 hearts and again finished in first place. The voting period covered August 31 through September 6.

With the latest result, Jimin’s record for consecutive weekly No. 1 finishes has reached 222 weeks.

Billions of Hearts and a Huge Lead

Jimin’s overall numbers on KDOL are equally impressive.

As of September 12, his cumulative total had reached approximately 22.64 billion hearts, giving him a lead of more than 8.5 billion hearts over the second-place idol.

He currently holds the platform’s all-time records for cumulative votes, daily No. 1 finishes, weekly No. 1 finishes and monthly No. 1 finishes.

Jimin has accumulated 1,467 daily No. 1 finishes, while his weekly No. 1 record stands at 222 and his monthly record has now reached 52.

He also holds several single-period voting records, including the highest number of votes received in a day, week and month, as well as KDOL’s longest consecutive daily ranking streak.

Jimin’s Growing Collection of KDOL Records

Jimin currently holds 10 different records recognized by KDOL’s Hall of Fame.

Among them are the platform’s highest cumulative vote total, the most daily, weekly and monthly No. 1 finishes, and the longest daily No. 1 streak.

His highest recorded vote totals include more than 2.68 billion hearts in a single day, over 2.74 billion in a week, and more than 3.06 billion in a month.

These numbers highlight the continued strength of Jimin’s international fanbase, particularly on a platform where rankings are determined entirely by user votes.

How KDOL Works

KDOL is a global K-pop idol popularity voting service with users from South Korea, Japan, the United States, Southeast Asia and other regions.

The platform calculates rankings based entirely on real-time user voting. Votes are accumulated and reflected in daily, weekly and monthly rankings, as well as in overall cumulative totals.

Jimin’s latest monthly victory adds another milestone to his already extensive list of KDOL achievements, further cementing his status as one of the platform’s most consistently dominant K-pop idols.
