NewJeans member Haerin has made her first official public appearance since returning to ADOR, drawing attention from fans and the Korean entertainment industry.
Haerin attended a Dior Beauty photo call held at Lotte Department Store’s Jamsil branch in Seoul on September 7. The event marked her first major public schedule since returning to ADOR following the legal dispute surrounding NewJeans and the group’s exclusive contracts.
Haerin currently serves as an ambassador for Dior Beauty. She also recently returned to the spotlight through a pictorial for the September issue of Marie Claire Korea, where her appearance quickly became a topic of discussion among fans.
For the Dior event, Haerin opted for a sophisticated black outfit featuring a subtle polka-dot pattern, paired with a white cardigan. Her signature feline-like features and calm, confident poses immediately caught the attention of photographers at the venue.
The appearance comes after a lengthy dispute between NewJeans and ADOR. In November 2024, the members announced that they intended to terminate their exclusive contracts with the agency and pursue activities independently.
After months of legal proceedings, the court ultimately ruled in favor of ADOR regarding the validity of the group’s exclusive contracts.
Following the dispute, Haerin, Hyein and Hanni returned to ADOR, while Danielle was removed from the group. Minji has reportedly continued discussions with the agency regarding the terms of her return.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the group’s future, interest in NewJeans has remained strong. In July, around the group’s fourth anniversary, video content featuring four of the members, including Minji, was released, fueling speculation and anticipation among fans about the possibility of future activities.
Haerin’s appearance at the Dior event is therefore attracting particular attention, as it offers one of the clearest glimpses yet of the NewJeans member following her return to ADOR.
