LACKPINK members Lisa and Jisoo are once again making headlines as solo artists, but their latest releases are seeing noticeably different results on the global music scene.
Lisa’s new single “SaWaDiKa” has made a strong early impact, debuting at No. 13 on Spotify’s Global Daily Chart. Jisoo’s new track “CLICK,” released on the same day, entered the chart at No. 186.
According to global streaming data, “SaWaDiKa” generated more than 2.78 million eligible Spotify streams on its first day. “CLICK” recorded around 1.25 million.
Lisa’s momentum continued into the following day. The track remained inside Spotify’s Global Top 50 at No. 32, collecting more than 2 million streams.
Jisoo’s song, meanwhile, fell outside Spotify’s Global Top 200.
The difference was not limited to Spotify.
On Apple’s global music rankings, “SaWaDiKa” also maintained a significant lead over “CLICK,” while Lisa reached No. 2 on the worldwide iTunes Songs chart. Jisoo’s single ranked No. 7.
The early performance also puts Jisoo’s latest release in an interesting position when compared with her previous solo work.
Her 2023 solo debut “FLOWER” opened at No. 6 on Spotify’s Global Daily Chart, with more than 4.67 million streams recorded on its first day.
Her 2025 release “earthquake,” the title track from her mini album AMORTAGE, debuted at No. 110.
By comparison, “CLICK” entered at No. 186, marking a considerably softer start for the BLACKPINK member.
Lisa’s latest release is also part of a larger project. “SaWaDiKa” serves as a pre-release single for her upcoming mini album PRESS PLAY, which is scheduled to arrive on October 23.
The project follows Lisa’s first solo studio album, Alter Ego, and is expected to contain six tracks.
One of the most distinctive aspects of the new project is Lisa’s decision to incorporate more elements of her Thai identity into her music.
The title “SaWaDiKa” references the familiar Thai greeting, while the song combines hip-hop and rap influences with a concept that puts Lisa’s cultural background more prominently in the spotlight.
Jisoo, meanwhile, is taking a different route with her new music.
Rather than unveiling an entire album at once, she is building toward her first full-length solo album through a series of singles designed to showcase different musical styles and moods.
While both artists are pursuing their own musical identities outside BLACKPINK, their latest releases have produced contrasting results in the opening days.
For now, Lisa has the clear advantage in terms of early global streaming and chart performance, with “SaWaDiKa” gaining stronger momentum across several major music platforms.
