CORTIS Surpasses 4 Million Album Sales With Second Mini Album ‘GREENGREEN’
Rookie K-pop group CORTIS has reached another major milestone, with its second mini album GREENGREEN surpassing 4 million copies in cumulative sales.
According to the latest weekly album chart released by Circle Chart on September 17, GREENGREEN recorded approximately 4.1 million copies in cumulative sales between September 6 and 12.
The achievement comes just months after the album’s release and marks a dramatic increase compared with the group’s previous release.
CORTIS Sees Explosive Growth With ‘GREENGREEN’
GREENGREEN recorded 2,313,291 copies during its first week of sales, according to Hanteo Chart. That figure was nearly five times higher than the 436,467 copies sold during the first week of CORTIS’ previous album.
The album passed 3 million cumulative sales on Circle Chart in July, approximately 11 weeks after its release. It then added another million copies in just two months.
The album’s title track “REDRED,” along with tracks such as “YOUNGCREATORCREW,” has drawn attention for its distinctive sound and lyrics.
The group’s growing popularity has also been accompanied by strong demand for physical merchandise. Various items connected to the album, including LPs, lip balms, dice and CORTIS-themed merchandise, have contributed to the appeal of the physical release.
An expanded version of the album, GREENGREEN_playextended, released in August with additional tracks including “PACK IT UP” and “MONEYMONEYMONEY,” also helped maintain interest in the project.
‘GREENGREEN’ Makes an Impact on Billboard 200
The album has also achieved notable results internationally.
GREENGREEN debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in May, giving CORTIS one of the fastest entries into the Top 3 by a K-pop group after debut, excluding project groups.
As of the Billboard 200 chart dated September 19, the album remained on the chart at No. 188, marking its 18th consecutive week on the ranking.
CORTIS Reaches 6.4 Million Sales With Two Albums
CORTIS’ growth extends beyond its second mini album.
The group’s debut album, COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, released in September 2025, has accumulated approximately 2.3 million copies in sales according to the latest Circle Chart figures.
Around 1 million copies of the debut album were sold during 2026 alone.
With approximately 4.1 million copies of GREENGREEN and 2.3 million copies of its debut album, CORTIS has now surpassed approximately 6.4 million cumulative album sales with just two releases.
The milestone comes roughly one year after the group’s debut, highlighting the rapid growth of the emerging K-pop act.
