Jungkook’s solo track “Standing Next to You” has surpassed 500 million plays on YouTube Music, adding another impressive achievement to his growing list of global records.
With this milestone, Jungkook now has four songs that have each surpassed 500 million plays on YouTube Music: “Seven,” “3D,” “Standing Next to You,” and “Left and Right.”
Among them, “Seven” has already achieved an even more remarkable milestone, surpassing 1.3 billion plays on YouTube Music. The song previously made history as the first debut song by an Asian male artist to reach the milestone.
Jungkook has also previously set a record for the most songs by a K-pop solo artist to surpass 400 million plays on YouTube Music. Five of his tracks — “Seven,” “3D,” “Standing Next to You,” “Dreamers,” and “Left and Right” — have crossed that mark.
His official YouTube Topic channel has also surpassed 4.36 million subscribers, ranking first among K-pop solo artists. The channel has accumulated more than 1.54 billion total views, the highest figure among BTS members.
Jungkook’s solo music videos continue to attract strong attention from fans worldwide. “Seven” has surpassed 640 million views, while “3D” has reached approximately 290 million views and “Standing Next to You” has exceeded 230 million views.
Jungkook’s global popularity has remained strong beyond individual streaming records. He previously achieved the distinction of being the most-searched K-pop idol worldwide on YouTube for five consecutive years.
In 2026, he also ranked No. 1 among male group idols in searches on YouTube Korea, further highlighting his continued popularity as a global K-pop star.
