BTS Jin Joins Spotify’s Billions Club as ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’ Surpasses 1 Billion Streams
BTS member Jin has reached another major milestone as his solo track “Don’t Say You Love Me” officially surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, earning a place in the platform’s prestigious Billions Club.
The song reached the milestone on August 18, approximately one year and three months after its release, further highlighting Jin’s success as a solo artist.
Spotify announced its August 2026 Billions Club lineup through its official social media accounts, celebrating songs that have accumulated more than 1 billion streams on the platform.
Alongside Jin’s “Don’t Say You Love Me,” the latest lineup included Michael Jackson’s “Rock with You – Single Version,” Frank Ocean’s “Chanel,” and 3 Doors Down’s “Here Without You.”
“Don’t Say You Love Me” was released on May 16, 2025, as the title track of Jin’s second solo mini album, “Echo.”
The song also achieved notable results on several major music charts. It debuted at No. 90 on the Billboard Hot 100 dated May 31, 2025, while “Echo” reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
The track also topped Spotify’s Global chart on May 25, 2025.
Jin continued to make an impact in Japan as well. “Don’t Say You Love Me” ranked No. 63 on Billboard Japan’s 2026 first-half Singles Overall Hot 100 chart, marking the highest position among K-pop solo artists and making Jin the only K-pop soloist to appear on the chart.
The song also earned Jin the Best of Listeners’ Choice: Overseas Song award at the MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN (MAJ) ceremony held on June 13.
With “Don’t Say You Love Me” now joining Spotify’s Billions Club, Jin has added another major achievement to his growing list of accomplishments as a solo artist.
