Former NewJeans Member Danielle Shares Bright Australia Update Amid Legal Dispute
Former NewJeans member Danielle Marsh is giving fans a glimpse into her life in Australia as she continues to build her own presence through YouTube and social media.
On September 25, Danielle uploaded a new video titled “Follow Me to Brisbane” on her personal YouTube channel, Danielle Marsh. It is the second video released since she launched the channel earlier this month.
The video follows Danielle as she visits her grandparents before traveling to Brisbane, where she enjoys snorkeling and a scenic light-aircraft tour. The new content quickly attracted attention from fans, surpassing 20,000 views and receiving more than 1,700 comments within its first hour of release.
Danielle Shares More Moments From Australia
Danielle also gave fans a closer look at her recent travels through social media.
On September 24, she shared a series of photos from her holiday in Australia. The posts included selfies taken on a plane while wearing a hat and sunglasses, as well as aerial views of blue waters, coral reefs and a heart-shaped island during a helicopter ride.
The posts offered fans a more personal look at Danielle’s life away from the stage.
Her new YouTube channel has quickly become an important platform for connecting directly with fans. Danielle’s first video, “Detour,” released on September 3, reportedly surpassed 1.8 million views within a day.
Building Her Own Path After NewJeans
Danielle has been pursuing individual activities following her departure from NewJeans.
According to the report, ADOR notified Danielle in December 2025 that her exclusive contract had been terminated. A legal dispute between the two sides is currently ongoing.
ADOR has filed a damages lawsuit reportedly seeking approximately 33 billion won (around US$23 million) against Danielle, one of her family members and former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin. The lawsuit is related to alleged responsibilities surrounding the group’s departure and other disputed matters.
The specific claims and legal arguments remain subject to the ongoing proceedings.
Despite the legal dispute, Danielle has continued participating in personal activities. She took part in a Liberation Day charity marathon in South Korea last August and also participated in the China Airlines Half Marathon held in Australia the following month.
From NewJeans to a Solo Chapter
Danielle debuted with NewJeans in July 2022 and quickly became one of the group’s internationally recognized members.
NewJeans released a string of global hits, including “Attention,” “Hype Boy,” “Ditto,” “OMG,” “Super Shy,” and “How Sweet.” Danielle also participated in writing the lyrics for “Attention,” showcasing her involvement in the group’s music beyond performing.
She also expanded her career into voice acting and musical performance, providing the Korean voice of Ariel in Disney’s live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid and performing the Korean version of the soundtrack “Part of Your World.”
Now, with her own YouTube channel and social media platforms, Danielle is continuing to communicate directly with fans and explore activities outside of NewJeans.
